Children & braces.

So dd had a check up at the dentist, dentist said she’d like to refer for braces on the nhs, personally I don’t think it’s anything horrific (but I’m not the professional here) she does have a slight overbite and two canines need pulling down, now having looked online it’s very unlikely she’ll meet the nhs criteria. Again that’s fine as we cant have everything for free on an already streched nhs but I’m shocked having done a little research at how much they’ll cost.. £2000 min. Does anybody have advice on which ones to go for as the more I look the more confused I get.. seems like far too many options. please keep in mind dd is 14 and already has self confidence issues due to unrealistic beauty standards & peer pressure 😠 (don’t get me started!) So now the dentist has said she needs them she’s become more focused on it 😞 this is something that will take me a few months to save up for but ultimately worth it. So just wondering of anyones experiences with braces etc.. opinions. Thanks ☺
