Hello, Not really sure what I’m hoping for out of this just need to no Id I’m doing the right thing.
The whole of my pregnancy my baby’s dad didn’t speak to me and when he did it was to deny that his son was his. For the first 5 months he kept randomly popping up playing daddy then saying he wasn’t. He didn’t turn up to the registry office so isn’t on the birth certificate. Finally had a dna done as I made him pay for it.. Why should I have? And obviously he is his son.
I said he could see him once a week to begin with if he would stick with that he could see him more ext. But now my sons 7months he’s seen him about 5/6 times. He’s made so many excuse many weeks saying he’s too ill blah blah. (he’s never paid any maintenance ext)
Talking over message with him the other day he’s admitted he’s on cocaine and cannabis and has taken it before coking to my house to see his son!!!
So I’ve stopped visitation and said if he wants to see it it will have to be through a contact centre and he will need to be drug tested each time.

Is this the right thing to do? Am I being harsh? Thank you in advance x
