I had my 17 month old son at the doctors today because he has a rash all over his body. He had sickness on Tuesday (put it down to a sickness bug). The doctor said to keep an eye on him in case of scarlet fever however thought it was just a viral rash. Since being at doctors he now has very rosy cheeks. He is absolutely fine in himself eating, drinking and running around. Could this be scarlet fever even though he is completely fine in himself? Thanks
I know you aren’t all doctors but I am just not 100% sure what I am looking out for and he has another appointment at doctors in morning x

Your just looking out for the symptoms of it. Symptoms include flushed face, chills, temp above 38, tongue that is red or white with red dots, change in pallor around the lips. If the symptoms worsen and aren’t manageable then contact 111. Hope this helps and ur little one is ok. X
