PPP, I’m wondering if I should be concerned about my youngest who’s just turned 4. He’s very babyish, he is difficult to understand due to bad speech no matter how much we encourage him to speak properly. He still wets himself both day and night (he’ll run around in wet pants until we notice, he doesn’t tell us) He has to have his food cut up into tiny pieces and will have maybe 4 bites each meal then says he’s full, he is always crying for attention and he can’t seem to entertain himself for even 5 minutes. He hardly eats any food but always wants juice. He’s very small for his age and still fits into some 18 month old tops. The small number of shows he watches are aimed at very young kids but he has no interest in things age appropriate. Sometimes he just stands and stares at you in a strange way and doesn’t answer when you’re talking to him? I’m at my wits end and it’s becoming very stressful and feel like I’m failing him as he my eldest (6) is the complete opposite and is such a well behaved easy young boy. Doctor has seen him so he’s healthy so do you think it’s possible he’s doing it on purpose for attention and how to stop this ridiculous behaviour. He would be a very demanding little boy. I’m really struggling with him, anyone else have this problem?
