My 21 year old son works full time and brings home about £1000 pm I’m working part time so I’m entitled to some housing benefit… here’s my thing.. they have reduced my hb by £75 per week because of my sons wages so I need him (which he does ) to pay my short fall . Does anyone agree this is too much for him to be paying as he shares a small room with his 10 year old brother. I’m actually losing money as this money he pays goes to the council so not for gas/electric , food etc 😰😰
