PPP my 5 year old has kidney infection he’s on antibiotics, calpol and brufen but he’s not eating anything and the dr said to make sure he has brufen on full stomach… should I not give him the brufen now if he’s not eating? His temp is 38.7 hasn’t changed regardless of the brufen and calpol anyway! just not sure on weather to give him his brufen on empty stomach or avoid it 😖 waiting on dr call but will probably be 5 o’clock tonight any advice would be appreciated not coping to well with this illness and I feel like nothings helping xx

I had this when i was younger. I was so poorly. I remember because i wasn’t eating and needed medicines the doctor told my mum to give me flat lemonade. Xx but untill you get any information I’d keep him off it xx
id follow the doctors instructions tbh with you. Even if it means he’s eating junk food just to have a full stomach then do it. I hope he gets better x
Is your son drinking milk? If so he can take the brufen. Otherwise it can irritate the stomach lining.
I’d avoid as it isn’t very good for an empty stomach
Brufen eats the stomach lining on an empty stomach I wouldn’t risk it unless the dr has said it’s ok
Don’t give on an empty stomach unless Dr says so. It can be bad for the stomach if u do
