My son is 18 months and I’m starting to worry about his speech, He currently has a dummy but I have taken it for the day time and he still won’t speak I think it’s just a case of being lazy to some extent as he is a very laid back I don’t care kind of 1 year old im thinking about seeing a health visitor regarding this should I or should I let him just wait for 2 years check which is in the next few months anyway

How many words is he saying? Is he putting some words together. Maybe just sit down for an x amount each day and play with him and encourage to speak. Read books with animals and youch and feel books are great
