Ppp, my sons just turned one so I received a letter today from the job centre about coming to a back to work meeting something along them lines, the only problem is its tomorrow and I literally only have 48p until Friday so I have no way of getting there, on the letter it says if I don’t attend they’ll stop my benefits but if I ring in the morning do you think they’d be able to re arrange or do it over the phone? No bashing please, I’m not trying to get out of it infact I want to get back into work more than anything

yes, if you ring and explain that it was short notice and you cant get there, they will rearrange or do it over the phone no problem. if your with universal credit, phone them, if not the job center
Ring them explaining your financial situation & am sure they’ll look at changing the appointment
