PPP people who have split with a partner and they have moved back out then several months later got back together and moved back in. Is it as simple as going to the council and telling them the partner has moved back and and Jobseeker’s Allowance and income support? I split with my partner in may due to depression on my part, pushing him away etc couldn’t see I needed a bit extra support. since our son was diagnosed with autism and our son wasn’t settling being taken down to my partners mams so I said just start coming here to spend the day with him, sometimes I’d potter on with housework, or go upstairs out the way while they spent time together, then our son was diagnosed with autism and we were a good support to each other and gradually started getting closer again, he’s asked to try again and I’ve said yes and agreed we would get sorted and he would move back in the next few weeks. I’m just worried that the council or jobseekers might think we have been living together all this time when obviously he hasn’t, he’s been living with his gran, he’s had another girlfriend in this time and they had a miscarriage together. I’m currently waiting to hear from carers allowance about my son aswell should be anytime in the next few weeks I hear from them. Also I have a list of people to contact when he does move in can anyone think of anyone I might have missed, I receive income support, him jobseekers, he would need to call them, me income support, I’m not sure if I have to inform Dla, carers, the council for housing benefit and council tax and tax credits, possibly child benefit? Have I missed anyone I don’t want to end up in trouble, I have only recently got back on my feet financially after ending up in debt with bills from our split and don’t want to end up in that position again. Thanks 🙂
