PPP. Thanks. My sons dads side of the family have Never made the effort to see our son. Missed birthdays and christmases without even a card most times. My sons dad has told me they’ve booked for him to see a show near them (2.5 hrs from me). Without even checking dates or asking if I mind after recent events. Me and him are already away then. I’ve said politely to the mum(as his dad refused to talk to her about it as it’s nothing to do worth him apparently) that I’m really sorry and it’s a lovely gift but he can’t go as we are away. She’s asked me to change my dates as hers are nonrefundable. I’ve said I can’t as is all paid for and apparently it’s my fault she is losing money now and everyone is pissed at me?!? I’d be the one expected to drive him there and back but not attend and entertain myself as I’m not welcome so I know it’s a ploy to manipulate me into taking our son there because they won’t make the effort to come see him. And it’s my fault we are already on holiday?! Should they have checked with me?
