I have a 6 month old son, his dad, my husband is in the military he has been away lots this year and is for the rest of the year but we are lucky and he is coming home some weekends. Problem is my son is now aware that daddy has gone and is really struggling with him coming and going, he is so upset for a couple of days after making the whole situation harder. I know when he’s older we can do a count down of days till daddy’s home and I can explain his job etc but has anyone had a similar situation that can offer some advice or help?!
