Has anyone ever had pelvic pain during pregnancy? To the point where you struggle to walk?
The midwife gave me a band which is crap, but over the weekend my pain has become severely worse and I’m struggling just to walk short distances around the house. The pain gets worse as the day goes on and by 6/7pm I’m having to go to bed when the kids do because I can’t cope with the pain.

I’ve got 10 weeks left and don’t know how I will cope. Or even carry on in work.

Anyone any advice to help with the pain?

  • That sounds like spd, absolutely horrendous and unfortunately not alot you can do for it. I found sleeping with a pillow between my knees on my side was about as comfy as I could get, but as for walking it was excruciating and apart from the belt there is not alot else they can do. Maybe ask for physio, and make sure getting out of cars and out of Bed you swing both legs round together.

  • Has the Midwife referred you to physio ? As I’ve got an appointment next week thank god as I’m finding it hard to sometimes look after my 14 month old if it’s gets that bad they will induce you as had this conversation with my Midwife last week 🙂
Try and not lift heavy items and when getting out of bed or a car swing both you’re legs round at the same time I went to a group physio session and they told you different things to try I would deco ask you’re Midwife to refer you 🙂 xx
