Private post please. Long story kinda short!
My son has just turned 6, he hasn’t seen his dad since he was 3 We split up in 2013 as he was having an affair, we got back together after but it only lasted a month then he went back to the other girl! Anyway we have not seen him since January 2014 and i spoke to him last on phone May 2014.
I hear he has a 1 year old boy with his partner and they are getting married.
Now my son bless his heart keeps asking about his dad… Wants to see him and he wants me to have a baby so he has brother or a sister! How do I tell him has a half brother and half sister (his dad had a child before I was with him)
I gave his dad so many chances to see our son but he always let him down. I don’t want my son around his dad now or his partner (she has issues about me and can be very nasty) I explained to my son his dad loves him and doesn’t live far so when he’s older he can go and see him and that he’s not a bad guy just not a very good dad. Breaks my heart tho! Any advice ??? Do I tell my son he has a step brother and step sister?? I don’t plan on having any more children as I have been single since 2013 due to not wanting to confuse my son and risk him going through loosing another “Father” again. Help! X
