Private post please – looking for some advice, my daughter is 5 years old she has had no contact with her father since just after her first birthday. He was very unreliable and would turn up smoking a joint when coming to collect her so I would refuse to let her go. Social services advised me to stop all contact due to domestic violence against me and his partners after me. Her father is now having another child with someone else and wants me to allow my daughter to have a relationship and be at their wedding etc. Really don’t know what to do?
