When i do finally get my own place my boyfriend will be moving in with me. Hes on agency work atm and coming out with £222 a week after tax, as hes being taxed £70+ a week. Not sure why atm trying to sort it out. What other money would we get?
On entitled too it tells me we will get universal credit of £40-£150 a week, but not sure which.
But with £222, we will be left with £9 a week after rent and council tax and food and gas and electric?
Surely thats not what we will be left with?

If you will be claiming universal credit then that includes all benefits including tax credits housing benefits etc . If your does not have universal credit then you claim them separately. Have you included your child benefit when working out as that has to be included
You’re better off ringing the number instead of using online. I tried looking ages ago and It said I wasn’t entitled to anything I rang up and I was entitled to 200+ internet is shit for that it’s too general. Find the number and ring it chick x
Also because he is on emergency tax code he should be entitled to a tax rebate either when he finally gets his normal tax code or the start of the next tax year which is April next year
Universal credit do a housing and child element. Your best bet is citizens advice
ur bf must still b on emergency tax code hence why hes being taxed so high
