Im currently on maternity leave(receiving maternity allowance so im not paid by employer), i left in February but im still on the books at work listed as an employee but obviously not getting pay atm because im not working. Im going back in December.
However I’ve just had a look around the gov website as i was checking tax credits and I’ve seen this” Our records show you have no taxable in come in this tax year because your employment ended on 5th April)

The 5th of April is the start date of this tax year so does it say that because i haven’t worked yet in this tax year because i haven’t left my job just on leave?
Im just confused because they must be aware im only on leave because i receive mat allowance.
