Thought I’d lighten the mood a bit.. Sorry if not allowed.

Me and my partner have just had our precious baby girl. I am breastfeeding her and expressing for him to feed so we both get that bonding time. It’s going great, we’re so happy. Well.. That was until this morning..

Through the night my amazing partner decided to take it upon himself to do the night time feeds with the milk I’d expressed throughout the day, you know to give me a break and let me have a good sleep. Isn’t he a sweetheart?? ☺️ BUT the problem is.. Us breastfeeding women can’t control the milk makers and we all know if something gets too full.. It LEAKS!! So.. As I was fast asleep and my partner was happily chilling with the mini beast in the front room, my breasts started their pool party and you can picture the scene.. Wet clothes, wet pillows, wet bed in general (Don’t laugh too hard, I’m still learning too!!). Not pleasant to wake up to and my poor guy who must have been shattered by the time he’s finished with the bairn just climbs back into bed oblivious and goes to sleep.

Something else you should know is we are a couple that likes to prank each other a little bit. Keeps us on our toes if you like. You never know what’s coming next 👌😂

Anyway, I woke up naturally feeling epic after a good solid six hours sleep. The babes are both still asleep, it’s a good morning. Sat up and discovered the slightly sticky water bed scene.. Oooohhhh no.. It’s everywhere and my poor partner is laid in the worst patch!! Obviously I tried to wake him up so I could change the bedding for him. Thing is he’s not really a morning person.. And he talks in his sleep and this morning it wasn’t a pleasant conversation. His exact words were: ‘Fuck off (EXES NAME!!)’

Well.. How would you feel?? My pranks for the day include leaving him in the wet bed and watching him drink his breast milk tea – All Day!!! Happy Monday Mummy’s x
