I have a question and would like a private post if that’s okay.
I’m finally filing to change my last name which makes me insanely happy, my only problem is that I’m also trying to get my drivers licence. I live in Connecticut and to get your licence you must take an 8 hour safe driving course, which I already took, and they’ll be sending me a certificate with my current (birth) name on it this week. Will I still be able to use it if I get my last name changed? Or will I have to wait until after I get my licence then have to turn around and get a new one with the new last name? Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you in advance!!!
