Advice needed. My 12 year old is struggling with making friends at high school. He started in September and has tonight broken down in tears because he says everyone hates him. He says he sits down at lunch and everyone round him gets up n moves away somewhere else. Absolutely broke my heart. I’ve suggested joining groups but he is too scared of putting himself out there to be rejected by more people. He won’t speak to teachers because he doesn’t want to be known as a grass. Some advice please I think he’s depressed

Oh poor boy 😓 why not try and get him involved in a sport maybe rugby or football outside of school? He will make friends and gain confidence
Ask him to invite some friends over to yours so he’s in is own environment? Or speak to some mams &try and arrange something where they can hang together? X
He sounds alot like my 11 year old daughter she is autistic hun
