ppp Just wondering if any of you ladies could help me out please? do any of you work at McDonalds or know anyone that does? I have only recently started working there as a crew member but me and my fiancé are trying for a baby. Anyone know their policies on maternity leave etc please? Don’t want to ask my manager in case she is funny with me about it. Thanks 😊

I’ve worked there for 2 years I’m currently on maternity & with maternity pay it depends how long you’re working there and you could qualify for SMP, it depends on your wages. Everything else is pretty straight forward x
They should be the same as anywhere else.. 9 months paid maternity leave. Probably first 6 weeks at 90% of wage then statutory maternity pay for the rest of it at £139 per week x
You usually have to be working for a company for a certain amount of time before you’re entitled to SMP. Not sure what that is for mc ds though x
