Can I have a ppp, does anyone here have rheumatoid arthritis? I’m being tested now and they are certain I have this condition, life is becoming so difficult and the pain of the flare ups is becoming agony, just wondering how I cope with this and being a single mother, I haven’t slept in 4 days due to the pain and pain killers only dull it for a few minutes. I need to know the outlook of life with this

  • I have this hun. Plus extra bones in my spine. I have a daughter who is just over two and got a year of that I was a single mother.
I got diagnosed at 19, I’m now 23. I’ve been on tramadol since then on two high strength a day but I’ve taken them for that long it had no effect so need to up them but there so addictive it’s horrible.
I also see a constant every 3/6 months, and have steroid injections. He also gives me some new medication to see if it helps if not then I stop.
It is hard, I’m in pain all day every day. From my fingers to literally can’t get out of bed. But you just have to do it hun.
Once you get some mediation that suits you you will feel better and as soon as you do get into a good routine, I have relaxed mornings in my house so me and my daughter take things slow and easier and relax then get ready and go out in afternoon if we are etc. Some days we just stay in our pj’s make cakes and watch a film. But you will do it.
Also if you have a bug etc your pain will go worse, espeically with a cold, people get achy bodies but when you have this your body is so so so sore you want to cry. A cold to me is just awful.
But don’t let it get to you or get you down. I’m always here for an inbox if you ever need a chat xxx
