Can I have a PPP for a friend who is currently not on Facebook – as I don’t know the answer myself.
She cancelled her single person claim for tax credits/benefits ect at the beginning of September when her partner moved in. (They didn’t bother to do a joint claim because with both incomes they wouldn’t be entitled to anything from the online calculator thing).
After only a few weeks of living together, her partner has now left her and moved back in with his EX and there is no chance of him going back to her.
She now needs to claim tax credits again as a single person.
Our question is: Will this be as simple as just ringing HMRC and making a new loan claim (and basically getting the payments she was getting bfore) or because it has literally only been a couple of weeks since she declared a change in circumstances, will this prove difficult as they may not be willing to begin payments again after such a short period of time?
She put him on council tax and everything.
Has anyone been in this situation and was it simple to re-claim? ( She needs help asap as her childminder needs paying end of the month so will be stuck if they refuse ect)
Thank you!!
