Can I have a private post please.
I went to a gynocologist a couple of weeks ago. Due to slight abdominal pain and bleeding (not pregnant) that’s been going on for a long time. she said everything seemed ok. she said I had an ectropion and that could be causing it but said she would refer me for a smear test anyway to rule out the worse case scenario. I am under 25 years old. I got a letter with an appointment for a colposcopy which I am worried about because I have never had a smear so don’t know why they have given me an appointment for this. Has anyone any advice on why this might be?
