Can I have a private post please. I’m 34 weeks pregnant and had a scan last week and baby weighed over 5lbs.. I’ve got another scan in 3 weeks to check the babies weight. I’m just wondering if anyone has had growth scan and how accurate they were? My last baby was 8lb 11 at 40+4 weeks and her shoulders got stuck. I’ve been told that’s a big baby for someone my size and they are talking about inducing me this time and keep bringing up a C section which I’ve never had so the thought scares me. Can growth scans be way off? My bump is much smaller than any of my other pregnancies. Thanks in advance xx

My first they said he was 6lb 8 at 38 weeks and i he was 5lb 13 and i had him at 41+3 so they were way out and my second they said he was 6lb 10 at 39 weeks and he was 6lb 15 at 39+4 so they were spot on. Think every pregnancies different xx
My little boy was 6lb ish at 30 weeks and was 10 days over at 9lb5oz. And had a massive head! He was my second and was by far the easiest one x
I was always told to add 10% to what the growth scans tell you.
my daughter was induced at 37 weeks as she was told her baby was only 5lb and she came the next day at 5lb 12
39 weeks I was told 8lb1oz she was born at 40 weeks at 8lb 8oz and she measured 5oz at 34 weeks
I was told two days before my due date my daughter would be about 7lb and when I had her she was 5lb 15oz and two days late
I was told I was going to have an 8lb baby with my 2nd but she was only 6lb7oz so there not always right xz
I was told at 39 weeks my son measured 6lb 2oz born at 41 weeks and he weighed 11lb 9oz! They clearly got it wrong!
I was told my lb was 5lb odd at 33 weeks I had him at 36+2 & he was 6lb 3 xx
I had a scan the other week 30weeks I am she is 4lb already 😮 back for a growth scan in 5weeks 😮
At 34 i was told 5lb5, at 38+2 i was told 7lb5, he was born at 39+1 at 7lb2
My son was 6lb6 at 33weeks, he was born 40+ 3 at 9lb 7! Xx
My LG was 4lb 2oz at 31+3 born 8lb 4oz at 39+4 x
