Can I have a private post please?

Okay, so when my youngest turned 15 weeks, out income support got stopped. This was over a month ago and we have been living off just child benefit and child tax credits since. This is around £110 a week. My partner is unable to work due to mental and physical health conditions, but we cannot claim ESA, PIP or Carers Allowance for him as his father is his appointee and refusing to sign it back to us.
Income support won’t let us claim. I can’t claim JSA as I need to be home to care for him.
We need to put £250 into our rent on top of housing benefit by Wednesday (private rent), we are trying to sell as much as we can but aside from our TV (which is worth about 50) we have nothing to sell.

We applied for a Discretionary Housing Payment to top up our rent for this month, does anyone know how long this will take to come through? Rent is due Wednesday. We are in no other rent arrears.
What can we do to Starr claiming again? Please help, we are really really struggling to feed our 2 children and ourselves, pay for their milk and nappies and put anything towards gas and electric.

We have been to Citizens advice but aside from referring us to claim to Discretionary Payment, they weren’t much help. Thank you.
