Can I have a private post please?

Please tell me im not the only 1 with a pain in the backside teenager!
My 14 year old son has always pushed boundaries but lately its getting totally out of hand. Hes not an unruly child but he has what I call a massive chip on his shoulder. If he is in a good mood and things go his way he couldnt be any nicer, but a bad mood and he is unbearable. I honestly dont know how much more I can keep my cool. I have grounded him and taken his phone off him today for acting up in school (this happens time and time again) and he has completely hit the roof. Told me im pathetic, hes ‘too old’ to be grounded.
Last month he walked out of here and went to my mums house and refused to come home for 2 nights. Yesterday he called me a bitch and threatened to punch me. I dont think for a second he would but the threat was enough. He has zero respect authority and the more I push the worse he gets. I think im just looking for a bit of advice or just to know I’m not on my own. Sorry for the long post.
