Can I have a private post please?

What would you other mums do and please no bashing?
I have two children close in age (3 and 4).Once a week they go to a relative’s house for either a couple of hours or an overnight stay depending on what shift my hubby and I are on.
Every week it’s the same. I have to convince them to go as at least one of them starts crying and saying they don’t want to go. Then the next day we have mega temper tantrums. They kick, scream and act up so badly they get out in time out in their bedroom. Its not just myself who has to put up with this behaviour. My childminder who is a complete saint has to deal with it as well. Normally they are fine and play away with the odd squabble but it can easily be kept under control. The day after their visit though it’s crazy to the point I take time out to cry behind a closed door.
Any advice would be appreciated
