can I please have a private post….

my son who is 4 is so angry 😭 I told him tonight of he behaved he would be able to go and pick his advent calendar for the morning…. this afternoon he was reminded of this again and when he was told he needed to.leave he got so angry and refused…. he is all arms and legs and when trying to put his shoes on him on the sofa he kicked and hit… the shoes didn’t get on so I carried him to the car and he refused to sit in his seat so my friend had to hold him in his seat while I put his seat belt on… when we got home he refused to get out the car and so I had to carry him to his room again with him punching and kicking… he screams and hits the door… I feel like such a bad mum… me and my husband have always done our best to give him a happy enjoyable time and the past 2 weeks have been so bad I don’t know what we have done wrong….. he hasn’t gone to get his advent calendar tonight sue to his behaviour… I feel guilty and so upset by the last 2 weeks as I feel like I have completely failed as a mother I’m so worried he hates me for some reason… we have tried the shouty approach and the calm ignoring approach… I just don’t know what to do… don’t really know the reason for this post just after so reassurance I guess… thanks In advance xx
