Can you do a post for me please.
I’m so mad at my husband! He bought a PS4 off eBay for £190, I told him not to and to wait until Christmas as it’s not something we can just outright buy. Anyway he bought it 😕 and the seller from eBay issued an instant refund because supposedly the guy he was getting the PS4 off never turned up (alarm bells started ringing, because why would you put something on eBay if you don’t actually have it?) Anyway this was over a week ago now, almost 2 weeks and we still haven’t received any refund, he said it’s pending on his ebay account, and as well if he’d cancelled the payment straight away, then why has the balance actually left my bank and isn’t pending anymore?! And also just found out my very intelligent husband didn’t use PayPal so we don’t have the security blanket of getting our money back, he contacted eBay and they said if he hasn’t issued a refund within 8 days then they will pay us the £190 within 48hours, is this true? I absolutely hate buying off eBay and the dumb arse husband knows this! I’m just so scared we won’t get this £190 back, it’s not the sort of amount where you just think “oh well”. Please help to reassure me, I’m just scared that because he didn’t use PayPal we won’t get our money 😞

I always use PayPal as I think it’s safer and you will be protected if anything goes wrong, item is faulty or not sent etc. There are some genuine sellers on eBay so this could be the case. Hope you get sorted ASAP contact ebay or PayPal and tell them the situation and that it’s been two weeks.
Not much help with eBay customer service but hopefully ure husband will use PayPal from now on.
To add fuel sorry but Argos had a deal on PS4 2games and controller £180. Men r stupid that’s y they need a woman. Men and their games 😡. Hope u get ure money back xx
Even if you didn’t pay through PayPal it’s all processed via PayPal so you will get it back x

Yes it’s true. Happened to my partner before. They’ll pay you back and then chase it up with the seller xx
Yes eBay will pay you back
