Could I have a private post please?
My 2yo has been referred to a pediatrician for not doing what other kids his age can do. My HV went through a list of what he should be doing and he can’t do most things. I have to wait 8 weeks for an appointment but I’m worried and goig out my mind! Can anyone give me some advice on what will happen at the appointment and what will they do?

They just do all different activities with the child for that age , throwing ball , catching , putting shapes together feeding a doll with spoon putting toy phone to ear , check all legs arms ears etc are if child can’t walk jump etc it all depends on each child
They will look at what he can and can’t do and probably get you to do things with you over time and call you back in a few months and re look and incase he is just a slow learner. X
Kids this age learn in their own time theres no need to worry just yet
What stuff can he do and what can’t he do? I have an almost 2 year old xx
