Need advice.
My partners bio dad wants to see our 3 month old daughter but because of his history of DV against my MIL to be and physical abuse towards my partners oldest brother I’m very reluctant to let him. My partner said he would be in the same room at all times but even my partner doesn’t really want him anywhere near her. He’s only allowing it because his oldest brothers been pressuring him too. (Partner has ADHD – IS ON STRONG MEDS BEFORE PEOPLE JUDGE- and is very impressionable and gives in to peer pressure). My partner hasn’t seen his bio dad since he was 10. My MIL escaped with the three of them when my partner was 3/4 years old with the help of a family member. Courts granted bio dad 50/50 until my partner was 7. His oldest brother took him to see their dad when he was 10. My partners tried for 3 years to have a relationship with bio dad but it just ends in arguments or bio dad asking for money for drugs or alcohol. Partners oldest brother says their dad has changed but we don’t know that for certain because we don’t live near them we live close toy family in a different county. Is there anything anyone can suggest?
