Could I private post please. So am currently 4 months pregnant and haven’t told any family members only me and my oh know and we have little boy who will be 2 when second baby’s born and tonight I had phone call from my mum to tell me my little brothers ex girlfriend is pregnant and has her 3 month scan next week which am happy about am just worried how the family’s going to take know am pregnant as well am due in October and she’s November anyone been in the same situation and everything been fine thanks 🤔🙏

can also add I think am over thinking as well they maybe annoyed as my brothers said he wants nothing to do with the baby and my mum does and his ex has already said she can but cause am pregnant I don’t want her to think she’s going get pushed out and my mum lose out if you know where am coming from I know this would never happen as my mum buying allot for the baby to help her out as she’s not got much and I already have lots due to have my son xx

Can reply nope no reason they wouldn’t be happy I just over think to much. I think I just don’t want me little brothers ex to feel left out cause am pregnant as j don’t talk to her only ever met her once but am really happy am getting a niece or nephew think I just need to speak to the family thanks ladies 😁x
My daughter and my niece are 14 weeks apart. I told my parents I was pregnant when i was 19 and was crapping myself and thought id be pushed to one side because my brothers wife was pregnant and they had done it “the right way” both girls are nearly 4 now and its been one of the best experiences of my life. Both girls are loved so much and love each other infintly. Its lovely to watch
Your family will be fine with it I’m sure………my sister and sister in law are due within 10 days of each other and my little one is due 9 weeks later! Both sets of grandparents are getting 2 new grand babies and are over the moon. xxx
I had a situation a bit like this but my cousin had just lost her baby and I didn’t want to tell that side of my family invade they thought I was rubbing it in, I still feel bad now about it but they all acted fine with it and they were all happy for me.
Family’s can be a bit confusing sometimes but you’ve gotta do what you think is right x
For my first we let everyone know I was pregnant right after I got the positive test. With much criticism. So for my second we waited until the three months scan and told everyone. With much criticism. The moral is people are going to find fault so do what ever brings you the most joy. Your life, your baby. Congratulations and good luck.
I announced I was pregnant and then my partners sister annouced she was. I was due October and she was due November. She always said she was further along than me because her bump was bigger and stuff.. it was like she was competing with me. My brothers girlfriend also annouced she was pregnant and her baby and my little boy are best pals!xx
My sons dads sister was pregnant at the same time as me, she was 6wks pregnant before i became pregnant but i had him 10wks early an he was born a month before her daughter. I quite enjoyed it knowing i had someone else going through what i was in some ways 😊.
my nephew is 3 months older than my son and my niece is 10 weeks younger than my son, we was all pregnant at the same time, but we was all there for each other so maybe use could exchange stories and experiences off your pregnancy? congratulations btw xx

My son and nephew are 10 weeks apart.. they didn’t seem to mind. It was my second baby and their first so I was a bit worried that id be taking the lime light so to speak as my son was the younger one but it really wasn’t like that at all x
I had my 1st son last March then one of my sisters had her little boy last August and I’ve just had another little boy(13days old) and everyone on my family were fine with it.. it’s a strange question to ask unless there’s something that makes you think they wont be happy..

My sister and I were pregnant at the same time, 4 months between the babies. Everything was just hunky dory!
me and my sister in law where pregnant at the same time and every one was fine i was due in august and she was due in september as it worked out she had her in august and i had my son in september
everyone was happy all the way through
My brother and his now ex had my niece the month after i had my son! 🙂 my dad was shocked and happy too have 2 grandkids a month apart 🙂 x
