Heyy hun, can I have a pp please on the group my little one is 9 months old and his dad only seen him twice he keeps says he will give some money towards my little one but never has also he arranges to meet but never shows up just wondering what other mums would do, I’m thinking of going through csa but I don’t know if it would effect my benifit at all, thanks xx

Firstly he isn’t worthy to be in his sons life, he can’t even keep to a visit👊 #selfish However if you contact csa they can write to him telling him how much he should pay, if he doesn’t respond they fight on your behalf, they pay you and collect the money back from him, but it does cost for them to get involved. Good job you son is only 9 months old and to young to understand the upset and heartache he is causing! Good luck😘xx
It will cost you to go through the csa or whatever it’s called nowadays but it won’t affect your benefits if you do whereas years ago it did
Tell him you’ve seen a solicitor, and it’ll be a he’ll of a lot cheaper for him to just deal with you, and stick to it x
