Hi can I have a private post please.
I’ll cut to the point my daughter has a disabilty and we are private renting 1st floor flat concrete stairs no lift she’s damaged my wrist with me constantly carrying her up and down the stairs on bad days anyways the doctor reffered us to occupational therapy and she come round and gave her equipment (movable) and said she’d write to council about rehousing because of the stairs anyway she told me it be after Xmas and recently I had a call saying there coming round Thursday is this normal thing for them to do? I’ve never been in this situation before so don’t know what to expect

Yes they will prioritise you to move you into suitable housing…the house i moved into was already adapted for tge needs of my daughter
My flat was inspected before we moved, if that’s what it’s for?
