Hi can I have a private post please.
Today’s the day I have been dreading for the past 3 and a half years. My little girls dad has finally took us to court to try and get access to a little girl that doesn’t even know him. My nervous are shattered inside I’m scared of what the possibility outcome will be not just for me but for the safety for my little girl I guess I need to go in there and hold my head up high and show him he’s got no more control over me anymore. Has anyone else been in this position before that could tell me how long a day I could be in for? Thanks

  • Morning hun. Listen these judges have been doing this for years and can see through people . . I had exactly the same thing the only thing the judge will ever do is put the child first and only the child I know how hard this is believe me they will do the right thing . As for how long the day will be depends only on when you get seen if they over run ect they will not give a lot at first unroll your child knows dad ect (unless harm with proof to your child) try not to worries and trust the judge they do this every day …. They won’t just let him have her over night ect at first till they know each other. Is all negotiation in court make sure you have in ur mind everything hun you will be fine. If you need anything you can message me … Good luck xx

  • Depends on the case. If he is a danger to your child you’ll be able to prove it and the courts won’t grant access. They don’t hand over children to dangerous people especially people the child don’t know. X

  • Honestly depends on the case, some take an hour, some take all day, some take a number of days, it is really down to why he hasn’t seen her, what evidence he has, what evidence you have and why he wants contact now
