Hi can I have a private post please
My little boy will be 2 in September but he won’t talk, he says a small number of words like mum dad and milk. Has any one else’s child been a late speaker. I’ve been reading up on it and it’s advising he should be saying around 50 words and starting to put 2 word sentences together at his age. He had had a few ear infections so I’m going to take him to see my gp as I know this can have an effect on his speech, thanks in advance x

Everyone is different my daughter didn’t start talking till 18mths and that was a handful of words, started walking week b4 her 3rd birthday now doesn’t shut up and runs everywhere x
