Hi can I please have a private post….. I don’t know what to do.. I caught my son out lying about going out with his friends when he was actually meeting a “girl” hed met online… I read all the messages… Most was stupid stuff.. He’d said how old he was etc but she never gave anything personal away… And then they were telling each other secrets… This was his secret wtf am I meant to do or say to him?!? Please help I am completely lost.. My son is 12 xx

You have to tell him that as his parent you were concerned and read the messages and one really concerned you… You have to ask him who this boy was. You also have to tell him that you aren’t upset or angry at him and you just want to help… Grooming can happen and that is sexual assualt. It really needs addressed. I’m sorry this has happened. xx
