Hi could I have a private post please? X my son is 3 next month, and his behaviour is sometimes uncontrollable, his nursery have commented on it now too, with his lack of fear, running away, and impatience. When the health visitor came out for his 2 Yr check she had us set up with a play packs support lady to help with his speech as he’s behind on his speech also. He didn’t end up getting G referred as she said he came on more than when she first started seeing him, the health visitor also was concerned back then about his behaviour but when she came out with another member of staff my son was perfectly behaved and was every other time she’s came out ( hasn’t been for about 3-4 month now) and his behaviour is getting worse, any attention is good attention to him either good or bad, no fear of strangers, will only eat certain types of food with certain packets ect, his dad, aunty uncle and cousins are all on the adhd or autism spectrum, he won’t sit at a table for more than a minute to eat his dinner, won’t wear brightly coloured clothes, incontrolable crying and hitting out, brilliant with numbers, energetic from 6am until bedtime, repetitive words for example if he wants some juice hell repeat until you hand him it, if our dog doesn’t do what he wants him to do he’ll go mad and start making the dogs life misery ( obviously I stop him) naughty step ect doesn’t work, he still is behind with his speech, obsession with plastic animals dinosaurs and lining them up over and over again won’t entertain any other toys in the house other than them, it’s like he doesn’t know his name when you shout on him and always mostly appears to be in his own little world, but he talks to children and plays with them, also when he gets to his nursery setting hell never say hello when the teachers talk to him or if his grandad and nana come hell usually blank them too, has anyone else had anything similar with a nearly 3 year old? The reason I’m concerned is with my sons dad’s family’s history and the signs my son is showing x
