Hi could I please have a private post

I’m due back to work after Christmas and I feel I’m not ready to leave my son yet(6months) because of various reasons
If I decided to not go back to work until my son starts playgroup once hes old enough what help would I get?
I just have this feeling I won’t be entitled to any due to me leaving my job

I’m a single parent now 😔x
