Hi everyone
I need an advice. I’m a single mum. My boy father left us month before he born. It will be a long shot- let’s call my father son X
X started to showing up, when our ( my son and mine) life started getting colours- my son was around 10 months.
I wanted for my son to have a ‘father’ so I arranged one day with X ( few hours) so they could see each other. After few weeks I started to leaving house when X was coming in to see his son. My son didn’t want to stay with him on his own – till now he’s crying when I’m leaving house, after few minutes he’s okay. After few months X gave up – he stopped seeing his son for a month… Then after a conversation I agreed to give him last chance. Everything was fine. He had his girlfriend. Right now they broke up. At the moment is a nightmare – I believe it’s just the beginning.
He started to sending me text everyday few times a day – I didn’t reply to it as that was a rubbish things. I explained to him that he’s not going to get anything from me and to stop texting me.
2nights ago he got drunk he started with his messages first he said he hates me another that he loves me. I said to him to stop drinking and to stop taking drugs- he just said he’s taking them and drinking coz it helps for him to survive.
For couple of weeks he was on drugs while staying with our son who is 2 !
I’m very worried and to be honest I don’t want him anymore to stay with him until I get the proof he’s clean.
Today I told him I don’t want him to see our son. Am I right? I’m really worried to leave my son with him.
I want for my son to have a father but I want feel good when I’m leaving house, not worried and stressed.
I just want to add he is on birth certificate.
