Hi Ladies looking for some advice on what you would do in my shoes. So me and my partner have a 14 month old girl. Him and his parents have had a falling out with his sister, it happened in May and has been on going since. His sister claims she has been treated badly as a child by them and treated different to her brother (forced to do chores, not allowed any money had to work for it etc) i’ve never got involved as it’s nothing to do with me but today she came to see my daughter and disclosed to me that her dad abused them as children (physically not sexually) and used to beat them regularly and lock them in their rooms after tea when their mum had gone to work. (My partner has no recollection of being locked in his room but I never mentioned the beatings). I am completely shocked by this as this man is great with my daughter and i’ve never seen a bad side to him. Would you say something to my partners parents? To my partner? I feel like I can’t just leave it as my daughter goes down to their house and this is abuse she is accusing him of. Help 😩 xx
