Hi I’m just wanting some advice from some other mums and dads please.. me and my fiancé are taking our 2 daughters to italy this august, he isn’t the biological dad to my first daughter but her biological dad is on her birth certificate she has his surname and sees her every couple of weeks, my second daughter is my fiancé biological daughter. My first daughter, me and my other half all have different surnames and I’ve seen quite a few stories in the news where the mum has taken the birth certificate and shown she is the mother but the airport asked for a letter of consent from the father.. everyone has said birth certificate will be ok but I don’t want to get there and be excited for our holiday for them to say they need consent.. has anyone else been in this situation and been ok with just the birth certificate? Thanks.
