Hi, is it possible to have a private post please as my ex has family on this page?
My ex partner had a contact order & parental responsibility order over my daughter put in place around 3 year ago. I stopped my daughter seeing him after a rather serious incident concerning him and one of my family members. However I am back in court now with him over access but in the meantime he’s had his other kids taken from his care. Cafcass has sent me their report before our court hearing and have recommended paper contact due to his violence etc. Do judges listen and follow a section 7 safeguarding report or can the judge ignore it and I’ll have to argue my point to keep my daughter safe from him?

Nope definitely will listen to a cafcass report but may request a section 37 report which is assigned to the local authority to do and focuses more on the potential risk to the children.
They should look at everything x
