Hi there can I have a private post please.

I split from my long term partner in November last year, we didn’t receive any benefits so when we split I updated with the benefits system. I received income
Support when he left & my tax credits stayed the same, I rung them last week regarding money they said I owed, it turned out they hadn’t updated my claim from November and he was still on my claim. Not sure how that works as as from November I received income support and housing benefit he’s always worked full time so if we was together I wouldn’t of received these benefits anyway they have stopped my claim and have changed
My circumstances. Does anyone no how long it will be until they pay me? I’m worried about affording my rent and paying my bills whilst my money is stopped. Thankyou X
