Hiya. Can I ask a question please? I’m pregnant with number 3 and my first was an emergency c section after two days failed inducement. I had a successful VBAC with my second and was relieved not to deal with the 6 weeks of pain, suffering and problems of a c section recovery. This obviously has scared me about having another c section so I’ve been saying since appointment one that I really want another natural birth but this pregnancy has been my worst yet and I just have high anxiety about it ending up with another emergency section. It’s just a feeling I can’t shake. What I wanted to ask was, should I just opt for an elective to have a sense of control about the situation or try for another VBAC. I don’t know what to do. I suffered with extreme PND from my firsts experience and I don’t want it happening again. Is the recovery easier the second section round? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you xx
