Hiya please could I have a private post?
I recently got the depo injection. The first time I had it I had really light random bleeds but they were just like the end of a period sort of. Now the second time I’ve had it I haven’t bled at all I’ve put on quite a bit of weight which I heard is normal and I’ve been eating loads more which again I heard is normal.
I did take a pregnancy test a few weeks ago which came back negative.
Just wondered anyone else had the injection and not bled at all is this normal?

Varies with every different person… I had a period that lasted almost a year none stop… lost weight pains where awful got spotty had really awful mood swings… I didn’t have a period for 2 months then bang didn’t stop.. even after I stopped having it ( had 3 injections) it took 3 years for everything to even start getting normal but I know someone who has it and has no periods at all 🙂 x
Yes its normal i was on it for 3 years before my first child and never had a period the whole time and after my son was born went back on it and never had a period till my other son was born and same again now till i come off it for coil x
