I am a 52 year old woman whose been going through the menopause for a few years now. I also suffer with chronic fatigue and joint pain. I was single for about 10 years when I met an old school friend back in February. We started seeing each other and it was lovely to have the butterflies again. He is kind and caring and selfless. But the sex is awful. He doesn’t have fantasies and he isn’t into coloured underwear or dressing up. It seems he only likes it in bed. I have tried talking to him and showing him different foreplay techniques but it’s not working. Now I’m avoiding sex as he doesn’t turn me on and it feels like perfunctory morning sex. I know my sex drive is probably low due to menopause but I want to feel desired. Help!
