Looking for some advice. Please!!

My one and a half year old son has been screaming every night for the pass month like he’s getting murdered at bed time and he wakes every night and cries and cries until I put him in my bed I’ve tried everything! ! Taking into consideration my dad wakes at 1am to go to work so i can’t let him cry too long. He sleeps in a cot and we share a room, as soon as I put him in my bed and cuddle him he goes straight to sleep like a angle but then about 3 hours later he’s grizzling on and off but still half asleep . I’m feeling very exhausted sometimes waking 5 times a night 😢😢
Also he has been overly clingy …
I don’t know what’s going with him.
