Need sum advice
Partner has left me with 2 kids. Got a joint mortgage which is fixed for 5 years. Wot should I do sell it or stay?? And wot help can I get for me and the kids. Any1 know where I can get advice from please just wanna get it sorted as he is only paying the bills TIL the end of jan

Get legal advice about the house and what to do. You’ll get child tax credits but you won’t get any help with your mortgage. You need to check what sort of redemption fee you’ll have if you sell and terminate your deal early.
And yes the above used to be right but you will need to seek advice. Are you married? If so then he has obligations until the children leave school. A friend went through it xx
You need to see a solicitor u can apply for tax credits and working tax credits but wont get help with the mortgage i know as ive been there 😁
I’m sure the law is that if u have children under 18 then they have to put half toward the mortgage xx
