Please can i have a post?
Ive had social involved with my daughter because of her dad. He refused to give her me back and was saying he was going to kill himself.
He then went to jail for threatening to kill my current partner! Hes out of jail now but the social have said that he is a risk to myself and my daughter and he should go through court to get something legal in place to see his daughter.
He has told me that he is not guna go through court and he will wait until she is older enough to make her own choice.
Now he asks to see my daughter but i cant as social say hes a risk? But he wont go to court 🙁
Am i right in saying no? I feel guilty but if he wants to see her why wouldnt he just go to court and fight to see her :/ he tells me that shes better off without him and that she doesnt need him. But i cant help but feel awful for my daughter because i wanted her to have her dad 🙁 my current partner is amazing with her but he will always be known as mummys boyfriend and not dad.
Her dad now says hes moving 3 hours away, shall i just let him get on with it and leave it up to him?
(Previous to all of this i have tried my hardest for my little girl to have a relationship with her dad but he only seem to want it if i was there as well)
